XPO's Quick Launch feature streamlines campaign creation by allowing you to efficiently create your campaign, ad group(s), and creative(s) in single, seamless workflow.

Watch this how-to video explaining how to use the Quick Launch feature in XPO:

  1. Select +Quick Launch from the Account Dashboard
  2. Fill in the following campaign details:

    Compulsory fields:

        • Campaign Name
        • Channel (Programmatic, Facebook and/or Social, Search, & LinkedIn)
        • Campaign Objective (learn more)
        • Advertiser
        • Meta Ad Account (if you are creating a Meta Ads campaign)
        • Google Ad Account (if you are creating a Search campaign)
        • LinkedIn Ad Account (if you are creating a LinkedIn campaign)

        • Start Date and End Date (if applicable) for your campaign. Be sure to also select the Time Zone you wish to run your campaign in.
        • Overall Budget Cap
        • Daily Budget Cap
        • Bidding Strategy

    Optional Fields:

        • Campaign Category: Use the default General option. The Special Ad Category option only applies to campaigns that promote credit card offers, loans, housing, or employment. These categories require a separate manual approval process by our partners due to Meta restrictions.
        • Impression Capping and Frequency Cap
        • Footfall Attribution: Enable this feature if you would like to track the impact of your campaigns on in-store visits. An additional 1 dollar CPM will be added to your budget for this service.
        • Conversion Goals: Select your preferred conversion goal (e.g. when a user reaches the checkout page).
        • Add Management Fees: Select if you wish to include management fees based on any additional services provided.

  3. Click Next.

  4. You will proceed to create a new Ad Group.

        • The new creative will be based on the ad group settings you selected in step 4.
        • You can also choose to link and edit existing creatives from this dashboard.
        • If you wish to create your creative later and save the campaign and ad group details, turn off the toggle "Add creative in the next step", and you will be prompted to save the details by clicking on Exit Quick Launch or select Create Ad Group or Create Creative to proceed.

        • Enter the required fields, including creative type and creative information.
        • Select where your ad creative will be displayed. China and Russia require a special approval process compared to the rest of the world and takes 24-48 hours.

  6. Click Publish.

You are now ready to launch the new campaign, along with the ad group and creative under this account.

If you wish to create more ad groups and creatives for this campaign, select Create Ad Group or Create Creative and you will be redirected to their respective creation forms.

    Budget Field Explained

Set a Budget Cap for the campaign. Next, set a Daily Spend Cap which is the maximum daily spend for the entire duration of the campaign.

    A. Automatic Budget Optimization

Enabling Automatic Budget Optimization uses XPO's machine learning engine called KAIROS to recommend and auto-allocate budgets to different ad groups based on your KPI set. This automated optimization can be used in all channels (Search, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Programmatic).

Scenario 1: When Automatic Budget Optimization is ON and Daily Cap is Set

When the "Don't apply daily budget cap to ad groups" checkbox is not checked, XPO automatically allocates the overall budget to all channel ad groups based on the daily cap. For instance in the above image, the total daily budget cap of $50 will be shared among ad groups from all channels.

While you don't need to set separate budgets, you are required to set a daily cap for the ad groups.

Scenario 2: When Automatic Budget Optimization is ON and Daily Cap is NOT Set

When the "Don't apply daily budget cap to all ad groups" option is enabled, XPO automatically allocates the overall budget to all channel ad groups based on performance.

While you don't need to set individual budgets for ad groups, you are required to set a daily cap for each ad group.

Scenario 3: When Automatic Budget Optimization is OFF and Daily Cap is Set

When Automatic Budget Optimization is switched off, you must manually allocate your overall budget across channel ad groups according to your strategy.

However, in this scenario, since you have not enabled the "Don't apply daily budget cap to ad groups" option, the shared budget option (Daily Budget Cap) will be used across all ad groups throughout the campaign's lifetime

Scenario 4: When Automatic Budget Optimization is OFF and Daily Cap is NOT Set

When both auto-optimization and shared budget on the daily cap are disabled, you must manually allocate your overall budget across your ad groups in all channels.

    B. Apply Bidding Strategy to All Ad Groups

Bid strategies can now be applied at the campaign level, not just ad group level, simplifying campaign set-up.

        • If you opt to enable this and select one strategy, it will be used across all channel ad groups under this campaign.
        • If you disable this option, you will be able to select individual strategies for ad groups.
