How To Generate Scheduled Reports In XPO

Scheduled Reports lets you automatically deliver campaign reports to your recipients at a specific scheduled time.

  1. Under XPO Account menu, click on Reports and select Scheduled Reports. 

  2. You will find the list of scheduled reports that you have created, if any.

    Name Name of the report.
    Type The delivery method selected for the report (See point4 below for a detailed explanation).

    Status of the schedule report (i.e. Active, Paused, and Expired).


    The delivery schedule of the report is Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.


    Pause the delivery for scheduled reports or delete the scheduled report from the list.

  3. Click on +Schedule Report to create your scheduled report.

  4. Select your Delivery Method. This refers to the 3 options to which your report can be delivered:

    Delivery Method Description
    Email Reports will be emailed to your specified recipients according to your defined schedule.
    FTP (coming soon) Reports will be uploaded through the FTP server according to your defined schedule.
    Google Data Studio Reports will be synchronized with the Google Data Studio according to your defined schedule.

    • When FTP and/or Google Data Studio are not integrated with XPO, the options will be disabled to use for Scheduled Reports. The tooltips will explain the same.

  5. Schedule your Report. 
    By default, today’s date will be set as your Start Date. The End Date will be set after one month. The Advertiser time zone will be set by default.
      • Maximum limit for the End Date is 1 year from your Start Date.
      • You can select a custom start date, end date, and time zone as per your reporting requirements.
      • An email will be sent to you as a reminder, 3 days before the scheduled report(s) end.
      • Specify your delivery schedules as Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

    Deliver Every Sent on
    Daily Day

    Report will be delivered on any one day between 1 to 6 days based on your selection.

    Weekly Week or Fortnight

    Report will be delivered on weekly basis, on a specific day (Monday-Sunday) based on your selection.

    Monthly 1/2/3 months

    Report will be delivered every 1, 2, or 3 months either:

    • On a specific Day with the number (1st - Last day) or

    • First day with date name (Monday-Sunday)

  6. Key in the Report Details.

    A. If you selected Email as your Delivery Method in step 4, you need to select the Advertiser as well as the Campaign(s) for reporting. You will then need to add the recipient(s) for these reports.

    B. If you selected Data Studio as your Delivery Method in step 4, you need to select only the Campaigns for reporting.
    Here you have the option to enable Historical Data in the First Report. If enabled, you can select the past duration between 1 to 30 days. The report timezone will be the same as the timezone selected in the schedule.

    You can still edit a report once it is saved. However, you will NOT be able to remove a campaign once you have added it to the report. This is applicable to the Delivery Methods, Email and Data Studio. 

  7. Report Groups by Metrics. You can control the data representation of your report by using the below options:

    A. Report Format Arranged By - You can arrange the reports by using any one option including Day, Week, Month, or None.

    B. Then By - This option helps to arrange the data by Ad Group, Campaign, Creative, and Channel.

    C. Additional Grouping is where you can group the report data by different resources and targeting options. The breakdown includes:

    4. Audience Vendor
    5. Category

    2. Carrier

    4. Device ID
    5. OS
    6. Platform

    1. Call Details
    2. Call Report

    Once the report is saved, you can still edit the report and make changes to the Additional Groupings selection.

    D. Select your Report Metrics for each scheduled report. 

    E. Cost Metrics. If you would like to add cost metrics to your scheduled report, you can add those too.

    List of Cost Metrics includes:
    - Advertising Cost
    - Data Cost
    - Managing Service Cost
    - Media Cost
    - Partner Cost
    - Platform Cost
    - Service Cost

    F. Select Attribution Windows for your Scheduled Report. They include:

    • View - 1 Day, 7 Days, 14 Days, 28 Days
    • Click - 1 Day, 7 Days, 14 Days, 28 Days

  8. Click on Save and your Scheduled Report is successfully created.
