Syncing your campaigns to XPO allows you to directly manage and automate your selected Google Ads campaigns. Any subsequent change that you make to your Search campaigns in XPO will be automatically updated in Google Ads.
As Smart Shopping campaigns were upgraded to Performance Max in 2022, XPO does not support editing of Smart Shopping campaigns.
Before you start:
- Check that you have completed the following preliminary tasks according to your campaign type:
- For search campaigns, ensure that you have granted access to your My Client Center (MCC).
- For shopping campaigns, ensure that you have linked your Google Merchant Center (GMC) account to XPO.
Instructions
- From the menu: Utility > Manage Google Ads.
- Select Allocate Campaigns.
- Enter your Google Ads Account, XPO Account, and Advertiser Account you wish to sync the campaign details into and click Save.
- The list of available campaigns from Adwords will show up, select the campaign(s) %you want to sync in the Allocated box. Then click Save.
- Go to your Campaign dashboard of XPO Advertiser Account, search for the campaign. Hover on the campaign name, the tooltip Click to initialize campaign data from Adwords will appear.
Click on the campaign name to complete the syncing of campaigns into XPO.
Your campaign(s) should now be visible on XPO.
