How Do I Bulk Update Campaigns

In XPO, you can bulk update (i.e. add, remove or edit) on multiple campaigns of different channels including Facebook, Search, LinkedIn, and Programmatic all at once, across one or more accounts in a single step. This helps to save you time, speed up changes by bulk updating them in one go. This is particularly useful for highly repetitive tasks.  

 

How To Bulk Update Campaigns In XPO

    1. Partner Dashboard > Campaigns tab. Select one or more campaigns that you wish to update/change across multiple accounts.
        • To edit multiple campaigns from one specific account, you can select the respective account and go to the campaign detail page.
    2. Click Edit to do bulk operate on (a) Change Name, (b) Change Start Date, (c) Change End Date, (d) Change Budget, (e) Change KPI, and (f) Change Conversions.

(a) Change Name

  • The list of selected campaign names for the different channels will be shown, and you can change their names simultaneously.
  • You can change the name for all campaign statuses i.e. Ready, Published, Paused, or Expired.

(b) Change Start Date

  • You can only change campaigns that are in Ready status (i.e. campaign which has yet been started or Published). You will not be able to change for campaigns that are Published, Paused, or Expired.
  • Turn on or enable "Apply To Ad Groups" if you want to apply/cascade the same Start Date to the ad group level too.

 

 

(c) Change End Date

  • You can change End Date for all campaign statuses i.e. Ready, Published, Paused, or Expired.
  • Once you click on Change End Date, the list of your selected campaigns will pop up.
  • Turn on or enable "Apply To Ad Groups" if you want to apply/cascade the same End Date to the ad group level too.

 

(d) Change Budget

  • You can change the overall budget cap and/or daily budget cap for multiple campaigns here.
  • You will not be able to:
    - set an overall budget less than the daily budget cap
    - update the overall and daily budgets less than the ad group budgets
    - for existing campaigns, you won't be able to update the overall and daily budgets less than what has already been spent
  • The overall and daily budgets must be higher than the minimum budget.

(e) Change KPI

  • From the edit screen with the list of selected campaigns, XPO prompts recommended KPIs based on campaign objectives.

  • It is NOT mandatory to add a KPI for a campaign, hence, you will be able to edit and remove KPIs for multiple campaigns.
  • If you have selected/specified a KPI, you will need to indicate the KPI amount.

(f) Change Conversions (Goals)

  • Since a conversion goal is not mandatory, you can save without specifying any conversions too.

      • Once your change requests are saved and submitted, you will receive a confirmation message and a link to see the status of your updates.
      • If your updates are not successful, the reasons for the update failure will be shown to you onscreen.
  • The Save button will only be enabled if your actions are allowable (i.e. no restriction on the bulk operation).
  • If you do want to make any changes to the campaigns, you can just click the "x" button to close.
