A thumbnail of a video is the still image that a viewer sees before clicking on the video to play it. Thus, this is an important "first impression" or trigger that entices a viewer to click and watch the video. A play button is typically layered over the thumbnail, a feature that cannot be edited or customized.

Instructions

      1. Create a Facebook Creative. Select any one of the above-mentioned ad formats.
      2. Launch the new creative design form, and select Video > +Upload Video.
      3. Clicking this option will pull up the Media Library. From the media library, you will have the option to upload videos based on either your Knorex Account or Facebook Ad Account.
            • The list of videos will be shown based on the selected account.
            • You can search for the video by name or related keywords from the search bar.
            • If you wish to upload a video file, you can select the upload option
      4. Once you select a video, you will be given options to select your preferred Video Thumbnail.

    2.

If you wish to change the selected video, you can choose a different video from the options under the respective account.

                  • For best results and engagement, it is recommended to upload a thumbnail in the same aspect ratio as your original video to avoid looking stretched.
                  • You must feature your brand logo and/or product in the thumbnail creative with a clear focal point on the product or main feature of the video.
                  • You will be able to select only one thumbnail per video.
                •
    • You can edit the video (or change the video) and the thumbnail from the Facebook creative at any time.
    • You can clone, archive, and share the creatives with the custom thumbnail.
