How to Create Third-Party Audience Segments

Third-party audience data is commercial data that can be purchased from third-party data vendors based on their quoted CPM price. You can use this data to target your audiences based on categories such as industry, demographics, behaviors, and interest.

  1. In your XPO Admin Dashboard, go to your menu bar and click Audience > Audience Segments. You will be directed to the Audience Segments page, where you can click +Audience.

  2. In the New Audience dashboard, enter the Audience Segment Name, then select the Audience Type as Third Party > Digital ID option.

    Selecting Digital ID means you are using our comprehensive database to enhance your targeting.

  3. Select the Data Source as Data MarketPlace. Specify the time period you want target this new segment during your campaign.

    Audience location: Filter your audience data by country. You can select multiple countries.

    Device Type: Filter your audience data by device type—mobile, desktop, or both.

  4. Click Save and proceed to select your desired third-party audience data providers.
    • The Search box lets you search for specific types of audiences.
    • Select the checkbox in front of Third-Party Providers to choose all providers in the list.
    • You can include multiple audiences within the same segment. All these audiences denote an "OR" relationship.

    • Use Add Segment to create separate segments that denote an "AND" relationship.

  5. Click Save to complete the audience setup.
