How do I make use of my CRM Data for Cross-Channel Targeting

  • If you wish to upload CRM data for audience targeting into XPO via File Transfer Interpol server(FTP), kindly request your Knorex Account/ Customer Success Manager to grant you access to enable this feature in your XPO Account(s). 
  • Knorex will then send you an email with FTP credentials and instructions for activating and transferring your CRM files.

1. Instructions - Uploading CRM data to Create Audience Segments

  1. From your Partner Dashboard, go to the menu bar and click Audience > Data Connectors. You will be directed to the Data Connector page, where you can click Add New > CRM to create a new segment.



  2. Name your segment.

  3. Select one or more channels (Programmatic, Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

  4. Upload your CRM data as a CSV or FTP file type. Download the CSV Template for reference.
    The maximum capacity for a CSV file upload is 300,000 rows. There is no limitation for FTP upload.

    When filling out the CSV template, please fill in the mandatory fields. Optional fields may be left blank. Please ensure that all fields (formatting, order, etc.) remain unchanged.


  5. Click Save.

2. Instructions - Using CRM Audience Segments in a Campaign

Open your Data Connector dashboard to find the new segment you created. 

3. Map the CRM Segment to a Campaign

From your Campaigns dashboard, select the campaign to link with your CRM segment.

 

Mapping your CRM Segment to an Existing Ad Group:

a) Select your existing ad group.

b) In the details page, select the Audience filter and click on +Add Custom. Select the CRM segment that you have created.

c) Click Save.



 

Mapping your CRM Segment to a New Ad Group:

a) Click on + Ad Group to create a new ad group.

b) Name your ad group.

c) Select an Ad Group Type.

d) Fill in the relevant details.

e) Under the Targeting section, you must fill out the following fields:

  1. Location Select at least one geographic location you want to target.

  2. Custom Audience: Click on + Custom, find and click on your newly created CRM segment.



f) Fill in the rest of the details.

g) Click Save.
