This guide provides instructions on how to use the different primary features offered in XPO Designer. 

Using a container

Using a Container in XPO Designer helps simplify your design experience by allowing you to group all components under a single URL. 

  1. Drag the Container component to the canvas. 



  2. Drag any component (e.g. text, image, etc.) into the container.

Cropping an image

  1. Drag and drop the Image component to the canvas.



  2. Upload an image file from your computer. 

  3. Select the image, then hover your mouse over the right panel and click Edit



  4. Crop your image based on the appropriate requirements and click Save to finish. 

 

Changing an ad's orientation

There are 3 ad orientation options you can select from:

  • Any: Ad adapts to both landscape and portrait orientations.
  • Portrait: Ad adapts only in portrait mode.
  • Landscape: Ad adapts only in landscape mode.
  1. Click on Viewport followed by +.



  2. Input the name, size, max width and orientation (e.g.: Portrait display is 320x480 and Landscape display 480x320.)

  3. Once you finish editing, create your landscape design on the second canvas




  4. When all steps are completed, hover your mouse over the top-right corner and click Save, then Publish.

 

Adding third-party tracking pixels to a creative

  1. Select which component will receive the third-party tracker. 



  2. Go to your right panel and expand the General tab.



  3. Add your third-party tracker into the Tracking URL.
