How to Create DOOH Creatives in XPO

This article explains how to create a new Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) creative in XPO.

Before You Start

• Prepare the banner image or video for your DOOH ad.
• The creatives specifications vary depending on the platform, location, and provider. Click here for some general guidelines and common specifications to consider.

Instructions

1. From the Account Dashboard, under the Creative menu, click +Creative.
2. After providing a Creative Name, select the Advertiser you wish to set up the creative for.
3. Select Creative Type as "DOOH," then choose either DOOH Banner for an image ad or DOOH Video for a video ad.

4. Fill in the Creative Info:

   a) Where will this creative be displayed? - Select Worldwide (excluding China and Russia), unless you want to advertise in China/Russia, which requires separate, pre-approved creatives. 

   b) Destination URL - The URL used by the exchange or third-party platform to verify the authenticity of the advertiser's domain name and URL.

   c) Third-party Trackers - Add the tracker information if you want to include other third-party tracker(s).

5. Fill in the Scheduling information:

   a) Timezone - Select the timezone that applies to your ad schedule.

   b) Start and End Date - The duration for which the ad will be published.

   c) Flight Duration - Control the active periods of your creative within the set schedule. Flight periods must be at least 30 minutes long and at least 30 minutes apart from each other.

6. Once you Submit, a success message will be displayed.
7. Open the newly created creative and click on +Add Image/+Add Video.
8. Select your creative and click Load to display a preview.

To change the image/video, click the Change Image/Change Video button.

The current status of the creative is shown next to its name.

Actions available for the creative:
Edit: Modify the creative.
Action -> Resume: Activate the creative for all or selected Ad Groups by checking the respective checkboxes.
Action ->Pause: Deactivate the creative for all or selected Ad Groups by checking the respective checkboxes.
Action ->Clone: Duplicate the creative.
Action ->Delete: Remove the creative permanently.

Approval status of the creative from different exchanges is displayed under Ad Exchanges Approval.
