How To Allocate/Manage Accounts For TikTok Campaigns

Before You Start

  • You must have your TikTok Business Manager account details. It is mandatory to have a TikTok User account on TikTok with Ads Manager and/or Ad accounts.
  • You should have access to manage the TikTok page as well as the allocation page. XPO Partner Admins and System admins will have access to manage the Tiktok page.

From XPO Dashboard, under Utility -> Manage TikTok, you can import TikTok Accounts, Allocate Accounts, Request New TikTok Accounts, and Sync Campaigns/Audiences of the TikTok Account.

Manage Accounts

From XPO Dashboard, under Manage Accounts you can import TikTok Accounts, Allocate Accounts, Request New TikTok Accounts, and Sync Campaigns/Audiences of the TikTok Account.

  • When you allocate the first TikTok Account to an XPO account, it will be set as the default account. The default TikTok account can be changed from the Action menu.

  • Add Payment link is done from the Action menu, redirecting you to the Payments page of TikTok.

 

A. Import TikTok Accounts 

    1. Click on Import TikTok Account to successfully import the account to your Partner. You will be redirected to a popup window for your TikTok log-in page.



    2. After logging in, an Authorization page will launch.
    3. Click on Confirm for the message “Successfully added TikTok Accounts to Partner“.





    4. After importing the TikTok Account, the “TikTok User account“ allocated to XPO Partner and ad accounts belonging to the User will display in XPO. TikTok Accounts list shows TikTok ad account id, Name, TikTok Ad account allocated to Advertisers, Status and Action.

B. Allocate Accounts/Advertisers In XPO

    1. From XPO Dashboard, click on Utility > Manage TikTok > Allocate Account.
    2. You will be redirected to the XPO Admin Dashboard to allocate TikTok accounts to XPO accounts and advertisers.
    3. Select the TikTok account and key in XPO account and advertiser to allocate to.





    4. You can configure the payment mode as either “Self“ or “Knorex“ while allocating the account too.



    5. Click on Save.
    6. After allocation of account, a Success message will display. When the TikTok account is selected, all allocated accounts will be listed in the dropdown.

  • You can create multiple TikTok accounts for one advertiser.
  • Action → Allocate Account > You can allocate the same TikTok account to multiple XPO advertisers.
  • Action → Sync Account > You can Sync TikTok accounts/campaigns/creatives/ad group information into XPO.
  • You can deallocate a Tiktok Ad account from multiple advertisers if no campaign is allocated to that account of the advertiser. This is done by unchecking the check box on Allocate account popup and then Save.
  • When you try to deallocate a default TikTok Account from XPO, a popup “Manage Default TikTok Accounts” will launch. You have to assign another TikTok account to XPO. All TikTok Accounts which are already assigned to XPO accout/Advertiser will be listed.
  • You can not deallocate a TikTok Account from XPO account/Advertiser when a Campaign, Conversion goal and/or Remarketing tag is created using the TikTok account in XPO.

C. Sync Campaigns

    1. If you want to run Campaigns created on TikTok into XPO, you can Sync Campaigns.
    2. From TikTok Account Management, click Action → Sync Campaigns of the TikTok Ad Account.



    3. Once you confirm, the Campaigns will sync into XPO within 30 minutes.

D. Sync Audiences

      1. If you want to use Audiences created on TikTok into XPO, you can Sync Audiences.
      2. From TikTok Account Management, Action → Sync Audience of the TikTok Ad Account.





      3. Once you confirm, the Audiences will sync into XPO within 30 minutes.

E. Allocate Campaigns

        1. Go to Allocate Campaigns, and choose your TikTok Account.
        2. Select one XPO account (dropdown includes all XPO accounts allocated to the selected TikTok account) and one XPO advertiser (of the selected XPO account) from the dropdown list. 



        3. You can now check the box beside the campaign(s) you wish to allocate to the account.
        4. Click Save. Allocated campaigns to Advertiser will now be displayed in your respective XPO accounts.

        • You can deallocate campaigns if they are not initialized in XPO Dashboard.
        • Only one campaign can be assigned to one XPO account. Once a campaign is allocated, it will not show on the list of campaigns for allocation.

F. Allocate Audiences

From Allocate Audiences, you can allocate Synced audience from your TikTok account to your XPO advertiser.

      1. Go to Allocate Audiences, and choose your TikTok Account (all the TikTok accounts will be displayed).
      2. Select one XPO account (dropdown includes all XPO accounts allocated to the selected TikTok account) and one XPO advertiser (of the selected XPO account) from the dropdown list. 
      3. Your Tik Tok audiences in the list will be displayed with columns including audience Id, audience name, type, and allocated.
      4. You can now check the box beside the audience(s) you wish to allocate to the account.
      5. Click Save. Allocated audiences to Advertiser will now be displayed in your respective XPO accounts. 
  • You can deallocate audiences and exclude them from XPO.

G. Request New TikTok Account

          1. You can send a request to your Knorex Account Manager to Create a new TikTok Account. Click on Request New TikTok Account, you will be redirected to a Popup.



          2. Key in Ad Account name, Industry, Country, Currency (default is in “USD“), and Timezone (default “Asia/Singapore“).

          3. Click Submit. An email will be sent to the Knorex Team.
