Purpose of Granting XPO Access to Your MBM account
Granting XPO admin access to your MBM account gives XPO permission to:
- Create Meta Ad account(s).
- Manage Meta pages.
- Sync ad campaigns from Meta to your XPO account.
- Sync audiences from Meta to your XPO account.
A. Connect your XPO App to your Meta Business Manager account:
Before You Start
Make sure you have Business Admin Access.
Instructions
- From your Meta account settings page, click on More Business Settings.
- Under the Accounts section, click on Apps and then click Add to select Request access to an app ID.
- Enter Knorex XPO's Meta App ID 487608104754508 and click Request App.
- Select the fields marked below and click Next to proceed.

Click I Accept and then Done.
- Your status will be displayed as 'Request Pending' until the Knorex team approves your Meta app request. Send an email to fbapp.approve@knorex.com to notify the Knorex team of your Meta app approval request.
- Once the Knorex team approves your app request, Meta will notify you. Ensure that the Knorex XPO Meta app is connected to your Meta app.
B. Create System Users
Before You Start
Go to Users > System Users > Add to create 2 new system users: (1) User and (2) Admin.
Instructions
(1) SYSTEM USERS
- From the System Users page, click on the Add button to create a new system user. Enter your System Username according to the following format: "PARTNER NAME User". Then, select Employee from the System User Role dropdown menu, which will give you full access to Ad Accounts, Pages, Catalogs, and Pixel. Once done, click Create System User.
- Next, click on User from your sidebar, and click Add Assets.

Assign Assets to yourself and enable Full Control to manage them. These assets include:
(1) Ad Accounts
(2) Pages
(3) Catalogs, and
(4) Pixels
The following steps demonstrate how to give yourself Full Control over your Ad Accounts, a process which you can repeat for your other assets mentioned above.
Select the Ad Accounts you wish to add. Then, select Full Control to manage your ad account.
Click Save Changes to continue.
(2) SYSTEM ADMINS
Follow the same process as the System Users process above, but this time create an Admin user. Enter an admin username with "PARTNER NAME Admin" format. Then, select Admin from the System User Role dropdown menu, which will give you full access to Ad Accounts, Pages, Catalogs, and Pixel.
Once you have successfully created both new system users - Users and Admin - you can move onto the following steps.
Generate Tokens
- From your System Users page, click Generate New Token.
- In the Generate Token popup, select the App as XPO. Set the Token Expiration to Never. Check/mark the permissions you wish to add. Then, click on Generate Tokens.

Copy and save the Access Token link as it will not be saved in Meta Ads Manager. Click OK.
- Share the token with Abhishek (abhishek@knorex.com) over email. Don't share this with anyone. After sharing the token with Abhishek, please delete the file where the token is saved. Don't keep any local copies of the token.
- After the token is linked successfully, you can view the list of Meta Ad Accounts in your XPO Admin Dashboard.
