1. What is the maximum radius setting for Factual and Mobilewalla?
The maximum radius setting depends on the size of your target country. For example, larger countries (e.g. United States) allow a radius of up to 100 miles. In contrast, smaller countries (e.g. Singapore), have a maximum radius of 10 kilometers (~6 miles).
However, to maximize precise targeting, the main priority for proximity targeting lies in the minimum radius rather than the maximum supported radius. The smaller the radius, the higher your chances of having your ads reach highly relevant audiences.
2. What is the major difference between Proximity Audience and Proximity Design?
Proximity Audience targets users based on their historical location data which is collected from users through their Device IDs. The location is based on the last 1, 7, or 30 days. There is no maximum limit on the data collection time period.
Proximity Design targets users based on their current location for real-time targeting. For example, targeting a user who is currently passing by a McDonald’s restaurant.
Both targeting capabilities rely on data provided by our integration partner, Factual.
3. Are there additional costs associated with using these targeting capabilities?
Yes, there are additional costs related to data usage and associated services. Please refer to the pricing information provided in XPO or reach out to your Knorex Account/Customer Success Manager for a more pricing details.
4. Does Facebook provide detailed reporting on which ads are being shown to specific users and their city?
No, Facebook does not allow reporting by city, but you can view reports by country/region . You can also report by designated marketing areas (DMA) to access a more detailed geographic breakdown.
