Q. What is an Ad Unit?
A: A container that is used to hold/serve/display a static/interactive ad. You can register as many ads in the ad unit as you want. To get started, you will need to add at least ONE managed site OR a partner.
Q. How do I change the name/title of an Ad Unit?
A: Go to publisher > select ad unit under manager brand display (left side bar) > under "about ad unit" > click "edit" > change name.
Q. Can I change the size of an Ad Unit after creating it?
A: No, you can not change its size after creation, you will have to re-create to use a different size.
Q. Can I use the same Ad Unit in more than one managed site?
A: No, you will have to create an Ad Unit for each managed site. This way, you will be able to track each ad unit separately in your report.
Q. Does XPO ad tag supports SSL?
A: Yes, XPO ad tag supports SSL (HTTPS) and uses asynchronous mode.
Q. Can I use XPO ad tag to serve on DCM/DFA/DBM?
A: Yes, Knorex ad tag can be served on DCM/DFA/DBM. More info for each can be found at XPO Supported Publishers and Ad Exchanges.
Q. Is XPO a certified third-party vendor of GDN/ADX?
A: Yes, Knorex is a certified Google global ad-serving vendor (https://support.google.com/3pascertification/table/3191570?hl=en )
Q. Can I place the XPO ad tag into another DSP?
A: Yes, XPO comes with its industry-standard ad server. Using XPO Admin Dashboard, you can easily serve and track all the different types of ads that XPO supports. You can tap on XPO Designer to create all kinds of dynamic ads (e.g. forms, feeds, etc) and ad templates and serve into other DSPs. You will also be able to track and retrieve additional metrics such as engagement/interaction. Also, you will be able to tap on XPO Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) capabilities to execute the personalization of ads. On the reporting front, you will have the capability to enjoy attribution reporting and cross-device reporting.
Q. Can I use/place a third-party creative management platform (CMP) vendor' ad tag (e.g. Celtra, Flashtalking, Sizmek, DCM, etc.) into XPO?
A: XPO supports use of third-party tags. Nonetheless, any of the features or capabilities supported in XPO will depend on the corresponding CMP vendor's support of that feature or capability as the ad tag will be served by that vendor instead of XPO in such case.
Q. Can I export out the HTML code generated using XPO Designer and upload/insert the code to another creative management platform (CMP) vendor platform?
Ans: No, XPO Designer does not provide such exporting function. Ads created using XPO Designer are generally dynamic, rich media ads that require dynamic tracking and often contain complex code and trackers, and may not be fully supported by other vendors.
However, XPO does support embedding of third-party tag into XPO generated ads if these third parties provide ad tracking technologies such as 1-pixel, image tag, beacon tracking. See also Q9 where you can directly place XPO ad tag into other vendors.
Q. Does XPO ad tag support click macro and view-through macro?

Q. Does XPO support use of custom macro?
A: Yes, XPO supports custom macro.
Q. Why does my newly added dynamic ad not appear/fit properly after embedding into my website?
A: This happens when the container size is not set correctly. You should ensure that the container size (both WIDTH AND HEIGHT) matches the ad size.
Q. What to do if my added click-macro is not recording any clicks in the third-party reporting system?
A: The most common issues are as follows:
(A) QUOTES ARE MISSING from the ad tag.
(B) CLICK-THROUGH URL IS NOT ESCAPED PROPERLY.
